The 2005 AzFOA All-Star Crews
The Annual Coaches Association All-Star Classic
June 16 & 17, 2005 at Surprise Stadium.
During halftime of the 4A-5A game, a very warm and touching tribute was done for BOB MADRID. His wife, Patsy, along with his children and grandchildren were present and on the field to hear thoughts and memories from his crew members. Mike Brown, Greenway Football Head Coach, presented a plaque to Patsy on behalf of the AZ FOOTBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION. It was a reminder of how quickly any of us can be snatched away, yet how much those around really care about the guys who wear the striped shirts.
