Since we are all individuals with different personalities and styles, the following two quotes could apply to all of us:

A.           “Do unto others, as you would have others do unto you.”

B.           “Treat all people the same, by treating them differently.”

If we are a truly trusting official, we will always be aware of those we work with and attempt to improve, at all times, our interpersonal skills in dealing with each other.  We should be a light, not a judge; a model (official) not a critic – we should be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

The late Vince Lombardi stated;

“The way a team performs is a true reflection of a coach.”

We are a team and we should be trusting of each other.
