Gerald Hancock - Class of 2021

Started officiating in the White Mountains in the early 70's. When the AIA went to area commissioners, in 1991, he appointed area commissioner for A-6 until around 2007. He worked tirelessly while assigning the largest geographical area at the time. He has mentored many officials over the years in the northeast area. Was the AZ football official of the year in the 90’s. Had many positive relationships with the schools, athletic directors, officials, and the state office. Many of the coaches still recognize him and are grateful for what he was able to accomplish for the area. Gerald worked 4 state championships in football and numerous semi and quarterfinals.
